Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Green Union Capital Inc. ("we", "us", "our", or "Geb AI") collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you use the Geb AI service at gebai.ca, chat.gebai.ca, and related surfaces (collectively, the "Service").

1. Who we are

Geb AI is operated by Green Union Capital Inc., a corporation existing under the laws of Canada. For any privacy question, contact privacy@gebai.ca.

2. Information we collect

• Account information: email address, display name, authentication provider (Google or email/password), account creation date.
• Conversation content: messages you send to Geb, AI-generated responses, chat titles and folders you create.
• Usage and telemetry: API call metadata (timestamps, token counts, model identifiers), request IPs, device and browser information.
• Billing information: subscription status and plan. Payment card details are handled exclusively by our payment processor (Stripe) and are never stored on our servers.
• Uploaded files (Pro plan and above): documents you upload for AI analysis. Files are stored temporarily while being processed and then purged according to retention limits described in our Data Handling Policy.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Provide the Service, including routing your messages to our AI models and returning responses.
• Maintain your chat history so you can resume prior conversations.
• Process subscription payments and send billing receipts.
• Diagnose, debug, and improve the Service (including model quality and reliability).
• Detect fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.
• Communicate service announcements, security notices, and product updates.
• Comply with legal obligations in jurisdictions where we operate.

4. Legal bases (for users in the EEA / UK)

We process personal data under one or more of these lawful bases: (a) performance of our contract with you; (b) our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service; (c) your consent where required; and (d) legal compliance.

5. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Infrastructure providers: Google Cloud Platform (hosting, storage, AI model serving in the europe-west4 region).
• Authentication: Google Firebase Authentication.
• Payments: Stripe, Inc. (card processing and subscription management).
• Email delivery: transactional and security emails.
• Legal disclosure: when required by valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users or the public.

6. Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal obligations. Chat messages are retained until you delete them. Uploaded files are purged on a rolling 30-day basis unless you explicitly save them to a chat. Usage telemetry is retained for up to 24 months for operational and security purposes.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), the EU GDPR, and similar frameworks), you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to withdraw consent or object to certain processing. 8. International data transfers

We are a Canadian company. Our infrastructure is hosted on Google Cloud in europe-west4 (Netherlands). Your data may be transferred, stored, and processed in Canada, the European Union, and the United States. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

9. Security

We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required by your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Cookies and similar technologies

The Service uses strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies to authenticate users and maintain sessions. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or a prominent notice in the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
