Terms of Service
Last updated: June 24, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Geb AI service operated by Green Union Capital Inc.("we", "us", "our"), a Canadian corporation. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to create a Geb AI account or otherwise use the Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if we discover an under-18 account it will be terminated and the associated personal information deleted. By creating an account, you represent that you are 18 or older, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Generate or distribute unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, or harmful content.
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, disrupt operations, or probe for vulnerabilities.
- Reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service in ways not permitted by these Terms.
- Use the Service to develop a competing AI model or to extract proprietary training data.
- Submit content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or confidentiality rights.
4. Content and ownership
You retain ownership of the prompts, files, and other inputs you provide to the Service ("User Content"). We do not claim any ownership of User Content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, store, transmit, and process User Content solely to operate and improve the Service.
AI-generated responses are provided as-is. You are responsible for how you use such output.
5. AI output disclaimers
Geb AI uses machine-learning models that may produce inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate output. Do not rely on AI-generated responses as legal, medical, financial, professional, or safety-critical advice. Verify information independently before acting on it. We make no warranty as to the accuracy of any AI output.
6. Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans are billed monthly in Canadian dollars (CAD) through our payment processor (Stripe).
- Your subscription automatically renews until you cancel. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
- All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or explicitly stated by us.
- We may change pricing on notice. Changes apply to the next billing cycle after notice.
- Taxes are additional where applicable.
6A. What we don't train on
Geb AI does not train its language models on your conversations, attachments, or personal data. Our proprietary model, Geb v7, is fine-tuned from an open-source foundation model only on (a) curated synthetic examples that teach it how to use tools — web search, prospecting, document generation, code execution, and similar — and (b) publicly licensed corpora. Your chats stay yours.
Instead of retraining models on user data, Geb uses a private memory layer called Key of Life (KoL). KoL stores facts, preferences, and prior context that you explicitly share with Geb during conversations, encrypted at rest in our Canadian data centre (Edmonton, Alberta). You can view, edit, or wipe your KoL memory at any time from the in-app memory panel. KoL is per-account and never shared with other users or used to improve Geb's models for anyone but you.
6C. Models and Licensing
Geb AI's primary language model, Geb v7, is Green Union Capital's proprietary model, fine-tuned from an open-source foundation model obtained under its permissive open-source license. As a downstream fine-tuner, Geb AI is a downstream user of those open-source base weights, not a contributor to the foundation model's pre-training. We are not responsible for, and make no representation about, the data the underlying foundation model was originally trained on by its upstream creators. Geb's own fine-tuning that produces Geb v7 — and the data we use for that fine-tuning — is described in our Privacy Policy under "What we don't train on."
6D. Real persons and deepfakes
You must not upload images, audio, or video depicting real persons (other than yourself) without their explicit consent. You must not use Geb AI to generate, modify, or distribute deepfakes, impersonations, or other media designed to misrepresent a real person's identity, statements, or actions. Violations may result in immediate account termination.
6B. Browser-as-egress for deep research (opt-in)
Some research requests need to fetch web pages that are geographically restricted, behind cookie walls you have already accepted, or rendered only via JavaScript. With your explicit opt-in, Geb may perform a small number of transient HTTP fetches through your own browser session using a client-side helper, then send the resulting HTML to the Geb backend for parsing.
- What it does. Loads public web pages your browser could already visit, on your behalf, while you keep the Service tab open.
- What it does not do. It does not read, copy, transmit, or exfiltrate cookies, tokens, autofill data, browser history, bookmarks, saved passwords, or content from other tabs. It does not bypass DRM or paywalls beyond what your existing logged-in session already grants you.
- Pages only. Only the rendered HTML of the requested page is returned to Geb. No screenshots, no DOM-wide scraping of unrelated tabs.
- Opt-in required. Off by default everywhere. Enabled in Profile → Settings → "Use my browser as a transient fetch egress for deep research". First use of a deep-research feature also presents a separate just-in-time consent prompt.
- Revocation. You may revoke at any time. Revocation is effective immediately for new requests.
- Restricted networks. If you are connected through a corporate, school, government, or other managed network, do not enable this feature without first confirming it is permitted under that network's acceptable-use policy. You are responsible for compliance with policies governing the network you are connected to.
- Legal basis. Consent under PIPEDA s.6.1, GDPR/UK-GDPR Art. 6(1)(a), Quebec Law 25 s.12, and Egypt PDP Law Art. 12.
6E. Connected apps and automated actions
Geb can connect to third-party applications ("connectors" — for example calendars, email, project trackers, cloud storage, and similar services) so it can read from and, where you direct it, write to those accounts on your behalf.
- You authorize each connection. A connector is enabled only after you grant access through that provider's own authorization flow, using the scopes you approve. You can review and revoke any connection at any time from the integrations panel; revocation is effective immediately for new requests.
- Write actions run on your instruction. Actions that create, modify, send, or delete data in a connected account (for example creating a calendar event, sending an email, or editing a file) execute only when you ask Geb to perform them. For sensitive or irreversible actions, Geb requests your explicit confirmation first.
- You are responsible for the actions you direct. You are responsible for instructions you give Geb to act in your connected accounts and for ensuring you have the right to take those actions. We are not responsible for the third party's availability, accuracy, or handling of data once it reaches them; the third party's own terms and privacy policy govern that data.
- Credentials. Connector access tokens are stored encrypted and used only to perform the actions you request.
6F. Quality evaluation of AI responses
To monitor and improve answer quality, we may submit a sample of AI responses — together with the prompt that produced them — to a separate AI model that acts as an automated quality judge. This evaluation runs alongside (and does not alter) the response you receive, produces only an internal quality score and rationale, and is not used to train our models. See our Privacy Policy for the sub-processor involved and the data-handling details.
6G. Session memory for long-running tasks
For multi-step tasks, Geb may keep a short-lived working memory and activity journal for the current session so it can continue a task across steps. This session memory is tied to your account and the relevant task, is not shared with other users, is not used to train our models, and is deleted when the session ends or when you delete the associated conversation.
7. API access
If you use our developer API, you are subject to additional rate limits and quotas. You must not share API keys publicly, and you are responsible for all activity on your keys. We may revoke API access for Terms violations.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or extended inactivity. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Account deletion is immediate and permanent. When you delete your account from the in-app settings, the deletion is processed without a grace period or recovery window. Your conversations, Key of Life memory, attachments, account information, and Stripe customer record are erased the moment you confirm. We cannot recover deleted data. Re-signing up with the same email creates a fresh, empty account; we will never restore prior content from a deleted account, even on request.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Green Union Capital Inc. and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses. Our aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100).
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Green Union Capital Inc. from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Alberta, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or via a prominent notice in the Service. Where a change materially affects the bright-line commitments enumerated in our AI Code of Conduct §1, we will ordinarily provide at least 30 days' advance notice before the change takes effect, except where a more rapid change is required by law or to address a serious safety issue. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
